Blogging With AdSense

By Clarence Wang

There is a lot to be said for Google's Adsense advertising program. There's the way they match the ads to the content of your website. That gives you maximum clicks without annoying your users. There's the flexibility of changing the way the ads look. That makes your ads attract attention without turning your site into billboard.

And then there are the fat checks, of course, delivered month after month. That gives you almost anything you want.

But probably the best you almost thing about the ability to earn good revenue with AdSense is that anyone can do it. You don't need any specialized knowledge. You don't need anything... except a website.

Now, it's very easy to put up a website these days. You can buy a domain, choose a template and put it on a hosting company's server in a very short space of time. All you have to do next is fill the pages with good quality content and bring in traffic.

Easy, right?

Sure it's easy, but it does require a little bit of work and for those who have never built a site before, that process can look a bit of an obstacle.

The solution is blogging. Putting up a blog and using it for AdSense advertising is simple, fast and can give you at least as much as revenue as building a conventional website.

Blogs originally started as online diaries but they quickly developed into so much more. There are no frills, bells or whistles. You just get page after gage -- usually on someone else's server - to put all the text and pictures you want.

You can write about anything you like from your family life to what's happening in your workplace to what you think about politics, sport religion or anything else that takes your fancy.

You will be amazed at what people want to read.

If a topic interests you, you can be certain it's going to interest someone else. Those people will come to you blog, read your comments and views and click on you ads.

You'll be getting paid by Google to talk about your favorite subject.

Making money doesn't get any better than that.

But what makes blogging such an attractive option for people who want to make money with AdSense is that you can be up and running in minutes. Because blogs themselves are so simple - you can think of them as online notebooks that anyone can read - you don't have to worry about layout or which pages you need to build or even what you site should be about.

All you have to do is select the blogging service you want to use, pick one of the professional-looking templates they have available and write the first thing that comes into your head.

You can update you blog with a new entry as often as you wish, join blogging circles to bring plenty of interested visitors in quickly and of course, optimize your AdSense ads to blend them into the site.

And Google loves blogs. The company loves the fact that the pages change frequently. They love the fact that a good blog builds a loyal fan base. And they love the fact that most blogs focus on one particular topic.

All of that means good search engine rankings, well contextualized ads and plenty of good revenue that can start flowing in within just days of launch.

Oh... and did I mention that many blogging services are free?

Configure Google's Custom Search Engine For AdSense

Configure Google's Custom Search Engine For AdSense Income
By Steven Weber

I have a friend who is using Google's Custom Search Engine along with AdSense with great success. Google's CSE, Custom Search Engine using AdSense is available to anyone with an AdSense account.

If you are not aware of how the CSE works, read on.

A Google Custom Search Engine is a plain Google search box...on steroids. The sign-up page can be found by doing a search in Google for "Google CSE". It costs nothing to sign up for the custom search engine.

Basically, what it allows you to do is to customize the search results of a Google search on your site. YOU have the power to make the results very relevant for your niche.

Let's say you wish the niche you are targeting to be one of the keywords "eye problem". You'd first create an optimized site just like normal. But then you would also go into your CSE account and create a custom search engine and populate it with the best possible links you could find for "eye problems". Use all the WebMD type sites you could find.

While in your CSE account you also specify your AdSense account number so all the clicks within it will credit your AdSense account. While configuring the account, be sure to specify that you want the AdSense ads to appear above the search results. In my opinion the custom search engine will generate higher click throughs with the ads above the organic results.

The idea here is to make the custom search engine VERY valuable for the users so that they will make multiple searches with it; thus they spend more time there and may click an ad or two.

Next, on the page above the search box, you can have a heading such as this: "Do a search for an eye doctor in your city or state".

Then in small text you could give an example such as: "Austin eye doctors"

Then when a visitor does a search with his or her town for eye doctors, some VERY targeted AdSense ads will appear. These will have a very high CTR; many of the ads will say "Austin Eye Doctor". People will click!

Like I said, I know someone who is doing this with many different areas and is very successful at it.

Think about it! This method offers up a whole new twist on using AdSense. There are thousands of possible ideas which will work very well. Anytime people might search for exact locations, exact model types, exact anything, is a good time to use a Google Custom Search Engine.

Don't Settle For Cents With AdSense

Don't Settle For Cents With AdSense - 8 Things You Need to Know For Success With AdSense Websites
By Jane Mcgowan

Now that I've got your attention I know you're wondering why anyone would want to go into an internet business that's only going to make you "cents". The fact is that lots of people all over the internet are building massive fortunes with the virtual AdSense empires. It's not unheard of to build a six or seven figure income in a relatively short period of time if you follow these "dos" and "Don'ts" of how to use AdSense.

People that tell you AdSense is dead or AdSense doesn't work are just not building their empires the right way and understanding how to make AdSense work.

Here's my list of my top "Dos" and "Don'ts" for generating revenue with your AdSense websites:

1. Don't put AdSense on your primary income generating pages (ie: sales pages, landing pages, etc.). If the intent of the page is to make income from your own product or an affiliate product, you do not want to have AdSense on the page. Why set yourself and your page up to earn just a few cents from a click of an AdSense ad when you could be making much much more money by selling your own/affiliate products from that page. AdSense ads on income generating pages are distracting to the visitors and may result in you losing your visitor and your sale altogether. Once an AdSense ad is clicked on they are taken off of your page you've potentially lost a sale. Sure, you'll get those few cents or dollars for the AdSense click, but is it worth it to risk losing the bigger sale? You need to understand that clicks on AdSense ads take visitors away from the page they are on.

2. Don't stick up a simple one page website with tons of Google AdSense on it and expect to make money from that page. The more pages you have on your website and the more good and relevant content you provide to your visitors, the more page views from that visitor and the greater the potential they will click on an AdSense ad and you earn money from that visitor. Additionally more pages and more contents means more relevant AdSense ads which increases your Click Through Rates. It is very difficult to get a single page website indexed and optimized for any of the search engines so the more pages you have the better your chances of getting ranked by the major search engines.

3. Don't ever ever click on your own website AdSense ads, or for that matter encourage your friends or associates to click them on for you. This is a total violation of Google AdSense and your account will be ripped away immediately if Google determines there is suspicious click throughs on your websites. Once Google cancels your AdSense account it takes an act of God to get it back, so RESIST all temptation to click on any of your own AdSense ads.

4. Do update your websites and keep them fresh with new content. Google loves it when you add new content to your websites. You might even want to consider adding a blog and a forum to your AdSense websites. Blogs and forums are great sources of new updated content. If you add a blog make sure you add it right to your websites, ie: mydomain.com/blog

5. Do take all of the articles you write for your website content and submit them to the article directories. My favorite article directories are Ezinearticles.com, Goarticles.com, Articlecity.com, Ideamarketers.com and now the newest one Affsphere.com. Once your articles are approved by the article sites you'll start to see results in the search engines. In addition other website owners and bloggers that pick up your articles to add to their sites will provide backlinks to your AdSense Niche Sites from the links you provide in your "resource box" and the more backlinks you receive the higher your site will rank in the search engines. Do write lots and lots of articles and keep submitting them on a regular basis. These same articles can be added to your website as new content and visa versa so you only have to write the content once and use it twice.

6. Do Blog about your AdSense websites. The 200 Instant AdSense Niche Templates I'm offering have matching Wordpress Templates. If you use the AdSense template to build a niche in "Afghans" for example, then you'll also have a matching "Afghan" Wordpress Template. Blogging is a great way to improve your search engine rankings and get additional backlinks to your AdSense websites. In addition by adding the blog as a page of your original AdSense website you will be continuously adding new content.

7. Do build your AdSense websites with the primary intent to provide good content and earn revenues with AdSense. If you spend the time developing an informative website and drive free traffic to it you will make money with AdSense. Some niches will make more money than others...but your cost to develop these AdSense sites is your time so every "Cent" you earn is just pure profit beyond the cost of your time.

8. Do build an empire of AdSense sites. You can build your own virtual empire of 200 niche websites with the templates I'm offering. The more sites you build, the more AdSense revenue you will earn. If you build 10 sites that earn you $30 per month then that's an extra $300 per month of auto-pilot income. If those same sites are making $50 per month then that's $500, and so on and so on. You do the math. You're not going to make a fortune from one single AdSense websites, but realize the power of building lots of AdSense websites and multiplying your income with each site you build. The more you build and optimize the more you earn. The object is to build...optimize...rinse...and repeat....over and over again. The more you build niche sites with AdSense then obviously the more AdSense revenue you will earn...and this is revenue that will continue month after month after month. There's virtually no end!

If you're considering adding AdSense as an additional source of revenue to your internet business then you should consider getting your hands on these 200 AdSense Ready Niche Website Templates that have been professionally optimized for AdSense and the search engines. These website templates make building your own virtual real estate empire easy and in addition to that they have resell rights so you'll have your own product to sell. Why spend weeks and months studying and using trial and error to determine proper AdSense ad placement? These 200 niche website templates that already have the AdSense correctly built into them. You can have your first site up and online in less than a day. Oh, and they also have resell rights!

Millionaire Adsense Affiliate Speaks Out

By Christopher Kyalo

One millionaire Adsense affiliate who was the first to reveal online that they were on course to raking in over one million dollars from their Adsense affiliate program revealed some fascinating facts behind becoming a millionaire Adsense affiliate.

This millionaire Adsense affiliate has since sold his online blogs, which he was using to make his millions, to AOL. But not before his amazing revelation in a post at his personal blog that naturally attracted plenty of comments and questions from other Adsense affiliates.

One of the surprising revelations that came out of the millionaire Adsense affiliate was the fact that traffic is much more important than the position of Adsense ads on a site. It was revealed that the millionaire Adsense affiliate had already sold some of the best positions on their blog to other advertisers by the time that they joined the Adsense affiliate program. What this meant was that the Adsense ads were placed in the least favorable and least prominent positions on their blogs. Still they were able to enjoy high Adsense earnings that quickly got them into the millionaire Adsense affiliate club.

The lesson here is that volume of traffic is much more important than ad positions when it comes to Adsense earnings and the creation of millionaire Adsense affiliates.

Which One Is Right For You?

Affiliate Marketing Opportunity: Which One Is Right For You?

To be sure you get involved in the right affiliate marketing opportunity for you, begin with what you already know and have experience in. You will then have a competitive edge knowing the niche and niche products you are involved with.

Recent studies reveal that the only ones we feel secure about taking advice from are industry experts, our friends and family. This is due to the fact that our faith in sellers and resellers has diminished over the past year. Confident shoppers are even now wary about making purchases.

You should try to establish yourself as a credible resource if you can`t be your prospective customers` best friend.

When you already have some interest in as well as prior knowledge of the niche market that you are looking for, an affiliate marketing opportunity in this is easier to do.

Think carefully about yourself when looking for an affiliate marketing opportunity. What sparks your interest? What are your hobbies? Are there products and services that you have used or are still using that you would like to spread the word about?

When you have decided on the niche you want to be involved in there are many opportunities to consider.

Often affiliate marketing leads us to a product or service that we are familiar with. Creating a product review website then is a great affiliate marketing opportunity. Being able to share opinions about the products we are using makes product review sites very popular.

However, if there is too much competition in the products that you are interested in reviewing or you are not interested in reviewing products that your are familiar with, then an alternative is to create a niche website that offers fresh, new to the market services and products.

There is never a shortage of new things available for virtually every niche, so if you enjoy testing the latest things that come on the market then this type of affiliate marketing opportunity could be just up your street.

Rather look for and offer items that are new to your niche market instead of offering affiliate products that have been around for a long time.

So that you can be sure that your consumers are getting the best advice you should still test the products and services yourself. You will be reviewing products that most people have never seen or heard of before.

The whole idea is to offer something new and you will still need to be very knowledgeable about the niche you decide to get involved in.

Finding the products is the difficult part of this type of affiliate marketing opportunity and many of us don`t know where to even begin looking for them.

The same applies to selling. Signing up with affiliate niche sites is one of the best ways to find new products and test new services.

Affiliate niche sites allow affiliates to sign up for their affiliate marketing opportunity and offer merchants the opportunity to introduce their new services and products.

Usually hundreds of new affiliate products are offered on these sites and there is something for virtually every niche.

As with any business you will still have to do the normal research that you would do and decide if the product or service is a worthwhile venture.

However,it is more convenient choosing from a huge selection of products and services on one site than surfing the net for the latest hot items.

It is important that you choose an affiliate marketing opportunity where you can establish yourself as a credible resource, whether you decide you want to offer your consumers a chance to try something new or to offer products and services that you are already familiar with.

The Best Ways to Avoid Affiliate Marketing Frauds

The Best Ways to Avoid Affiliate Marketing Frauds
By: R.T. Markovsky

Affiliate marketing is a big chance for those who desire to venture out independently. The minimal risk of exposure and zero starting costs create an attractive alternative for a lot of folks. Affiliate marketing plans are great for people who are both motivated and self-starters. They are likewise perfect for those who prefer to set their own schedules.

The web has helped us alter so many facets of our lives. We can work or study from our home utilizing a computer with high speed Internet access. Nevertheless, there are regrettably lots of swindlers out there quick to take either your efforts or money to use for their profit. A lot of these scam programs and work from home systems have little promise of totaling up to any sort of permanent income.

Unluckily, these sharpies have established themselves in the affiliate marketing field too. On that point, there are some first-class affiliate marketing platforms to be associated with. Your job is how to identify the scam artists.

The aspect and style of the Internet and affiliate selling is perpetually altering. This makes it very hard to develop a authoritative listing of "do's and don'ts". All the same, there are a few signals that one can look to. If your prospective merchant demonstrates any of these signs it may not necessarily signify for sure that they are frauds. However, it ought to justify further probing.

Any affiliate marketing program ought to always supply you with some backup. This may include a contact that you can get hold of with questions or concerns. A legitimate merchant should want you to succeed. Your success is their success. The information provided should at minimum contain a toll free telephone number, an email address and permanent street address.

If your prospective company is a web-based affiliate marketing program, then having no email or website should emphatically arouse some misgivings. Other matters like no phone or street address don't necessarily mean that they are attempting to defraud you. Nonetheless, this calls for an investigation of them with a fine-toothed comb.

A good screening tactic is to send the merchant an email containing some of the more common questions. If it takes them a long time to reply to you then you should give this venture low consideration. While they may not be intending to defraud you, if they are miserable at communicating, this could be a signal of other internal troubles.

If the prospective merchant has no website then you should move on. Any legitimate programs generally have a website detailing all the information you would need. Any companies that use only email should be viewed with suspicion. Since a website is easy to produce, why hasn't this merchant invested their time to do this? As well, a website leaves a more viable trail to a company. This becomes important if the company does end up cheating you, since the opportunities of tracing people through a website are better then trying to trace them through bunches of email addresses.

Who would not love an opportunity to work for ourselves, dump our day job and start a business of our own? However, what stops most of us before we get started is the money needed to start a business as well as the risks involved. Affiliate marketing is a viable way to make money working for yourself. The risks are minimal and the costs are almost zero. One should use some caution when signing up for a program. Be sure adequate support is available. Ensure that the company can be easily contacted and that questions are answered in a timely manner. Be super careful of companies that do not have a website.

These factors alone don't always mean that the merchant company is out to cheat you. However these warning signals should alert you to carefully investigate further before signing up for a program that could cost you money and time with no rewards.

How To Earn Affiliate Income From Your Blog

How To Earn Affiliate Income From Your Blog
By: Jonathan Hook

Affiliate marketing is one of those terms that you must have read and come across more often than not.

Newspapers and magazines feature interviews of people who made their millions on internet and mostly through affiliate marketing. Some of you or people you know must have also tried their hands on affiliate marketing but did not get the results that the "internet millionaires" got.

Well, the point that I am trying to make here is that there's no denial to the fact that people have made millions from affiliate marketing, but you have to understand that they have done the right things at the right time. There are hundreds of affiliate marketing programs out there that promise a lot but deliver little in terms of value. You must understand a few things about affiliate marketing before you jump into it.

Affiliate marketing is not something that'll make you rich overnight. You will have to treat it like your company, the only difference being that you don't have to store anything or ship anything to make profits. So what is it that you have to do? Well, you have to promote a product that someone else wants to sell and you'll get a commission based on every sale that gets executed due to your efforts. Sounds simple, doesn't it? Well it's not so.

Internet is like an ocean and your blog like a fish. So unless you make sure that you have certain qualities that set you apart from others you can you'll have difficult time making money through affiliate marketing and surviving. So what are these qualities? Well, firstly you should be able to identify which products you can effectively promote or take the help of a professional or company that'll guide you through this jungle.

But why would somebody pay you for affiliate marketing? Well they will be ready to pay you because they are far more busy producing the goods for sale that they cannot manage marketing themselves. Apart from that search engine rules keep changing every now and then and stale content keeps getting pushed behind every day in the search results. So as an affiliate marketer you ensure that you keep the content updated and keep the matter from getting stale. And above all the seller has to pay you no upfront fee for marketing.

Affiliate marketing works on the basis of pay per click or pay per impression. So if you want to strike it big in the affiliate marketing world, the best way to start is by taking help from the professionals. So if you want to blog about something tie up with Google AdSense where they will place ads on your website relevant to the content that is there on your blog. So you will have to select some of the topics that you either know inside out or something that is really hot and selling like - affiliate marketing.

Another form of affiliate marketing could be tying up with companies like ClickBank and then directly marketing the particular product that ClickBank recommends. These are all online stuff like eBooks, software, manuals etc. basically everything that can be transferred instantly online. And every time that somebody buys the product through your website you get a commission on the sale amount which varies from product to product.

The basic difference between the two types is that if you tie up with ClickBank you know what you are promoting whereas the case with Google AdSense is a little different because you just supply content relevant to a niche and Google decides what ads are shown.

Niche Affiliate Marketing: Is It For You?

Niche Affiliate Marketing: Is It For You?

When you come across a great product or service that you really enjoy or benefit from do you tell your friends and family about it?

Do you enjoy helping others find products and services to make their lives more meaningful, easier and exciting? If so, then niche affiliate marketing is for you.

Niche affiliate marketing is in your veins if you love sharing your excitement about your latest purchase and are the person that your friends come to for shopping advice.

Do not think you have to be a great salesman. Many of the best niche affiliate marketers have never really tried their hand in the art of marketing. Just be honest and enthusiastically share your knowledge of the products and services you are offering.

When it comes to money we are always wary when someone tells us what to do. You are much more likely to be taken seriously if you can present both the pros and cons of a product. You will gain the trust of your prospects a lot quicker which will result in more income.

Niche affiliate marketing is popular with people around the globe and it is not because it is one of the easiest ways to make an income online, although it is right up there, but rather that affiliate marketers have a genuine interest in seeing that they supply people with what they need.

Running an offline business with all the expenses involved is not something many of us would venture into. Also some would rather not deal with the shipping of products and customer service involved in being a merchant.

But, many do get involved with affiliate marketing because it costs less to start up, it is fun and is often less stressful than setting up an online store.

Niche affiliate marketers really enjoy linking people to products that they can receive benefit from and if this is what you enjoy then you will certainly have an edge over your competition.

They use the products before they even consider suggesting them to others and enjoy raving about the benefits.

They have a great deal of knowledge, not just about the products but information about the niche. They are very good at encouraging people to try new things and are willing to do whatever it takes to get people in front of items that suit them and they enjoy.

If the above sounds like you then niche affiliate marketing may be just for you and if that is the case then you can earn a great income doing what you have probably been doing for free up to now.

It is not difficult to get started. Firstly you need to think of a niche. What are the products or services that you are already excited about and would like to introduce others to? Answering that question will give you your niche.

You can choose your products to offer your customers from niche membership sites that are available for you to join and a lot of these sites also offer great advice for getting and retaining customers.

If you feel that niche affiliate marketing is for you then take the leap and start doing what you are already good at and love doing.

How to Become A Clickbank Super Affiliate!

How to Become A Clickbank Super Affiliate!
By: Johanna Piittala

Making money through affiliate marketing is one of the most rewarding careers one could ever have. What's good about this business is that anyone can join and make their way to success. Affiliate marketing has been known to be cost-efficient, assessable method of conveying long-term results. In fact, you can start even with a shoe string budget. And with affiliate marketing, you can have the benefit of working from home and enjoying the freedom and flexibility of working for yourself.

But there are also some people who failed in this kind of business. It could be because they lack knowledge and tactics. If you are a web site owner and you want to join in an affiliate marketing business, you should know where to get good affiliate programs.

Clickbank is an ideal place to start. Here, you can find one of the largest affiliate marketing programs in the industry. You just need to visit their site, http://www.clickbank.com and secure a clickbank ID. From the Clickbanks home page, proceed to Earn Commissions and look for the products and services that perfectly fit you and your site. These products are typically ranked according to their popularity.

Clickbank is one of the affiliate networks that serve as a 3rd party between the web merchants and the associated affiliates. It is responsible in providing the technology to deliver the merchant's offers and campaigns. The affiliate network also do the job of collecting commission fees from the merchant and giving it to the affiliates involved in the program.

Clickbank provides you a large and increasing network of publishers or affiliates to tap into. To be more specific, clickbank has more than 100,000 affiliates who are experts in finding potential customers for your affiliate program. The reason why more and more affiliates are joining Clickbank is obvious: the process of gaining commissions in this network is absolutely fair and transparent.

For web merchants, joining Clickbank is so easy. You just need to sign up in their site for free and allow them to sell your products. Keep up a promotional web site that gives your potential customers detailed information about your offered product or services. At your website, you must also maintain a comprehensive technical support pages for your product. In return, Clickbank will promote and sell your product, give customer service for your product, allow their affiliates to pass on traffic to your web site, enable you to encourage new affiliates to advertise your web site, furnish real-time sales reporting for you and the affiliates and send you and all affiliates a paycheck twice a month.

If you are a Clickbank affiliate wannabe, you surely won't find it hard to be a part of this network. First, you are required to place their link on your website and if you don't have a Clickbank account, you need to complete the Clickbank affiliate form and create your own account. Then, if you already have a Clickbank username, you are free to choose whatever marketing tools you want to use bring in more clicks and generate more sales. After selecting marketing tools, you can now get your affiliate link.

That's how simple it is to join Clickbank. But being a Clickbank super affiliate is no minor achievement. It means you need to possess the ability to sell lots of affiliate products. You also need to have expertise in search engine optimization, email marketing, newsletter marketing, reciprocal linkage, link exchanges and other methods of promoting your merchant's goods and services.

Among the secrets to become successful in affiliate marketing is to come up with good content based website and put your affiliate links in all your content. Your main purpose here is to give your visitors good quality content about the things they are interested in. Set aside the job of selling. It must be done by the sales letter page you are transferring them to.

Promote multiple affiliate programs in your website but don't promote everything the world has to offer. Just choose the affiliate programs that fit your site and focus on it. Then, it is advisable to automate the whole process, giving you more time for other ventures. Yes, you've read it right! Automation is another key to become a super affiliate.

Of course, you have to spend more time in reading, learning and taking up the changes in affiliate marketing business. Through this, you'll remain on top of the trends. If you are knowledgeable with online marketing, you'll understand how important it is to stay up-to-date. In this kind of business, what worked and what was accepted few months ago may not work at present. So always see to it that you know what's new in affiliate marketing everyday.

It's really hard to be a Clickbank super affiliate, but you shouldn't say NO to the thought of giving up. Bear in mind that in affiliate marketing business, you need to develop persistence, patience and knowledge. These traits will teach you to carry on no matter how tough the job is. Also, check your statistics. This will help you find out what is working and what is not. Make necessary changes if needed but do it one at a time and be patient.

Don't forget that in affiliate marketing, everything won't take place overnight. And it will not happen without blood, sweat and hefty time commitment. Again, just encompass patience, persistence and knowledge; then do above mentioned tactics. Before you recognize it, you will start gaining profits. Believe me, the fruits of all your efforts here in affiliate marketing will be way too sweet.

Opportunities for Affiliates

By: Arther Bakewell

What is an affiliate? In today’s world of internet and media development, many types of business procedures have started. These businesses are websites which advertise their products on the net, to attract buyers, not only from their own locality, but from all over the world. The main source of their income is created by the number of customers visiting the site, and making a purchase. (Traffic) The more traffic the site attracts will produce a proportionate increase in sales, providing the goods for sale are desired by the customer. These sites have developed a marketing strategy where they invite a person to join them, as an affiliate. An affiliate acts as an agent for the site holder by directing traffic towards the owner’s site, by advertising product on his own website, for which he receives a commission. Any person who has a website can collaborate with the company and open his site for the promotion of their products. His/her earnings will depend on the number of visitors that he can direct towards the company, and make them buy the products.

How do you choose a product to affiliate to?
What’s Hot and what’s not?

On line gaming and betting is a red hot area to become affiliated to, because of its popularity and the high volume traffic it attracts. It is a huge market, and is getting bigger by the day. Before choosing a site to affiliate to however, you must satisfy yourself on the following points.

1. The integrity and legitimacy of the site you are going to promote: this is important not only to you the affiliate, (are you going to be paid in accordance to the work you are going to put in?) but also to the people you are directing to the site, (will they get the service and facilities they require and enjoy) satisfied customers will direct their friends and relations to your site and help build your business. Before signing up to a casino ensure the online rules and regulations are in place. This can be checked via all the major search engines.

2. Promotional aids: make sure you affiliate yourself to a site that is going to provide you with free marketing materials; banners, flash banners, articles, email facilities etc, in order to attract traffic to your website. Make sure also that you read the testimonials posted on the web site of your choice, to receive opinions of the customers who already use the site. This is a good indicator of the status of the product.

3. In Conclusion: the web sites you should be looking at, that fulfil all of the above criteria, can be easily found by using any, or all of the major search engines. For instance, simply go to Google and type into the search bar, 'affiliate programs online casinos'. You will find a large selection of programs to choose from. Before making your choice however, make sure you do your research, most important; check out the credentials and integrity of the casino, (you don’t want to be directing traffic to an inferior site) check out what people already using the site have to say, (testimonials) check out what promotional aids are available to boost your own website, and most important to your business, (after integrity) check out who pays the best rates of commission. GO FOR IT, BUT CHECK IT OUT

Good Luck, good hunting ....And look out for that traffic! It could seriously affect your wealth.

Choosing a Good Affiliate Program

By: James Slader

You want to take the plunge into affiliate marketing and you want to do it right. You know there are many affiliate programs out there, some good, and some not so good. How do you know a program is right for you? What is a good affiliate program and how do they differ from poor affiliate programs?

A good affiliate program begins with a great product of course, but it also needs a supportive and knowledgeable affiliate manager behind it. An affiliate manager who provides you with product knowledge and updates on a regular basis is a great aid to your Internet business. When you have access to information from an informed affiliate manager, you can take that information and use it to market your affiliate product effectively.

Information that an affiliate manager gives you is typically up-to-date and relevant. This makes great fodder for your article-marketing program. Use the information received from an affiliate manager to write quality content for use in article marketing. The best affiliate programs have business-savvy, engaging affiliate managers as part of their team. A poor affiliate program doesn't have an affiliate manager to go to, or if they do, they are poorly trained and of little assistance.

When you look for a good affiliate program, look for one that encourages dialog between affiliate managers and members. You want an open-door policy, so-to-speak, where you can approach your affiliate manager at any reasonable time to ask questions and get advice on how to be a better affiliate marketer. As well, you want access to other affiliate members in the network so you can share ideas and concerns and get help and moral support for your business. When there is dialog between members of an affiliate organization a team concept develops where all work together for the common good. That common good is driving affiliate product sales.

A poor affiliate program does not encourage affiliate member interaction. Moreover, in a program such as this you may even find it difficult to gain access to a human being at the affiliate parent company. A poor affiliate program does not value the human element in the business. They just want sales and are not concerned with the people driving these sales for them.

A good affiliate program provides resources for building your downline. A productive downline is critical to affiliate marketing success. You can only do so much as a lone affiliate marketer. You can write articles and sign up for article marketing programs and get great article distribution so your links get out there to drive your affiliate sales. You can spend the time and money necessary to promote your website and its products in many other ways. However, you only have so many hours in the day and cannot do everything.

This is where a great downline works for you, even when you are not personally working yourself. A good affiliate program provides you with the tools and information needed to train your downline for productivity. They consistently keep you up-to-date on affiliate program happenings so you can keep your downline up-to-date. Again, it's all about the team concept, where all affiliate participants from managers down work together. This is what a good affiliate program provides you. A poor affiliate program offers no support or resources for developing your downline business.

Choose an affiliate program that offers you a knowledgeable and enthusiastic affiliate manager. Choose one that encourages interaction between affiliate members and one that gives you all needed to build your downline effectively. When you choose this type of affiliate program over one that shows little interest in working with you, you are on your way to affiliate marketing success.

By: Marc Carson

Have you ever heard or read the phrase multiple streams of income before? Do you know what this phrase means? For many businessmen, creating multiple streams of income online or offline is one way of securing themselves as well as their businesses in the future. They also believe that it can also save them from the so-called famine effect in the business industry. Once you are engaged in affiliate marketing business, it is advisable if you have multiple streams of affiliate marketing income so that if one of those income streams vanished, it will not upset you the way losing your sole stream would. Try to ask the most successful online entrepreneurs, and you'll discover that they have established multiple streams of online income.

There is a businessman that said and attested that the very first step you must take in creating multiple streams of income is to assess or evaluate your resources. Start by assessing yourself first. Jot down your answers to the following questions: What are the talents, abilities, strength and gears that you possess? Are you gifted with excellent and creative writing skills? Can you do well at sales? Are you good in communicating with people? Are you born with an artistic skill or unique ability that other people don't have? Through this, you can determine the kind of business where can possibly excel.

Next, look around and write down you assets and physical resources such as computer, color printer, scanner, digital camera, cell phone, CD or DVD burner. Write these all down because it can be used as a resource. Consider also your friends and family. Find out what do they possess that you have access to. Remember that no man is an island. You can use the talents, abilities, knowledge and resources of everyone you know.

Through this, you can be assured that you won't experience crisis if ever one of your web merchants closed his/her program.

However, you should choose only those affiliate programs that interest you so that you can effectively advertise and promote them. Don't ever be tempted into signing up for numerous affiliate programs in the hope that one of them will bring income. Select wisely and don't be engaged in selling products you know nothing about. Go with the stuff that jives with your enthusiasm; your passion can capture your client by the nose and guide him/her to your affiliate link.

You should also work hard to make your multiple streams of income more stable. You can do this by embracing some strategies and tactics and by developing within yourself, some traits that can help you become successful in any kind of business such as patience, persistence and thirst for knowledge.

Lastly, just remember the adage that says, Don't put all your eggs in one basket. So that if one of them is lost, you can still have some to make omelets. And what do these eggs have to do with multiple streams of affiliate income? Well, it goes without saying that the more streams of income you possess, the bigger and better your money lake becomes.

7 Quick Fixes Every Marketer Needs To Know

7 Quick Fixes Every Marketer Needs To Know About
By Allyn Cutts

When your profits begin a downhill slide or just seem at a stalemate, you scratch your head and ask a thousand times, ?What am I doing wrong?? Well, the truth is that you may not be doing anything ?wrong?, but there may be some things you could do to bring about a change. The next time you?re up against a brick wall, try implementing these techniques into your marketing campaign, and watch those blues disappear!

1. Change Your Advertising Focus Hey, everyone is a prospective customer, but let?s face it... not everyone is interested in what you have to offer. Why waste advertising dollars on those who don?t even pay attention?

Find your niche. Identify the audience with the greatest need for what you have, and learn all you can about them. Become a specialist who knows what they need, and advertise directly to them. You?re customer conversion rate will soar!

2. Be Unique. There are plenty of copy cat marketers out there trying to mimic the success of those around them. Sometimes it works... sometimes it don?t. But the fact of the matter is that the more unique you are the more attention you will get.

What isn?t your competition doing? Yeah, try that! Chances are they can?t or aren?t willing too. That?s your key to success!

3. Offer a Bonus. Who will pass up a freebie? Add these ?on the house? products to your sale to sweeten up the deal. The freebie doesn?t need to be anything too big, or cost you anything. Just the idea of the bonus will increase the perceived value of the purchase in the consumers eyes. And yeah, they?re all looking for the best buy for their buck!

4. Gather Follow Up Info. Most customer don?t make a purchase the very first time they walk through your door, but don?t let them escape your clutches. Find out who they are, and how to contact them in the future. The longer you keep a line of contact open with them, the more trust you build up. Sooner or later they?ll be back and ready to buy this time!

5. Wipe Out The Risk Factor. The biggest reason people hesitate before making a sale, is the lack of confidence that they are making the best choice. Hey, no one wants to invest in a product that doesn?t live up to its name. In fact the fear of making a bad
choice is greater than the desire for the product.

You can totally eradicate the risk factor for consumers by providing an unconditional money back guarantee. When you guarantee satisfaction, they won?t be so hesitant to get out their wallets and commit themselves to the purchase.

6. Be Diverse. The buzz word in the Internet Marketing realm is Affiliateships. Affiliate marketers find products that are related to their own products, and offer it to their customer. The customer wins because he can learn more about the product he is investing in, and you win with commissions for an easy sale. After all, it?s much easier to sell to a customer with his wallet out and open than to build a relationship with a brand new customer.

7. Keep Your Eyes Peeled. Marketing is an ever changing entity. The Internet has brought tremendous change to the way we do business and advertise. It?s wise to keep your eyes peeled for new advertising methods that will add to your profit margin. A word to the wise: don?t go too far out on the limb. Keep 80 percent of your marketing budget working on the tried and true methods that have made you successful, but use the remaining 20 percent to test for ways to increase your advertising success.

These seven tactics can bring even the most sluggish marketing problem to life. Try one or all of them and watch your sales begin to climb once again... or even for the first time!

Attracting Good Affiliates

Good affiliates can be hard to get. There could be any number of reasons for this, but I am going to focus on what I believe is the one major problem that prevents someone from attracting good affiliates. But first lets look at what the make up of a good affiliate may be. A good affiliate is:

Hard Working
Persistent
Motivated to work their business
Does not need constant reassurance
Makes and implements goals
Overcomes obstacles
Recognizes and takes good advice
And Never, Never, Never quits!

The question some may ask is, "Where are these people at?" I'll tell you. Most of these people are already successful with their own affiliate program. And they are successful for the very reasons listed above. Also, they did not fall prey to the very problem that many searching for good affiliates are causing themselves. And that is advertising hype. They overlooked that and went into the marketing program with a desire to succeed, understanding that it is going to require work and time to be successful. Unfortunately though many are for the first time looking for a home business and don't know what internet marketing is all about. They are vulnerable to all the hype infested ads out there.

Now. If a person signs up for an affiliate program with none of the traits listed above for a good affiliate can they indeed be a good affiliate? Yes! But it will be an uphill battle helping them to develop some of the above traits. Even though it would be hard it is still worth it to work with them in hopes they will become the perfect affiliate. Who knows. They may become your best affiliate yet! But I want to focus on getting the good affiliates from the start. Why?

My logic is this. I would rather have one good affiliate that is a real go-getter then ten thousand that do nothing or very little at all. That way you have more time to focus on your own business then spending a lot of time babysitting someone who will probably eventually give up. The best route to go is to get affiliates who are already conditioned. Well just how do we do that? There is only one way to do that and that is how your opportunity is presented to prospects.

Most all advertising someone does is loaded with hype. Whether it is their search engine description, classified ads, or email. This is what prevents marketers from getting good affiliates. If possible you must remove all the hype from your advertising and sales letter. Now I know that some of us work an affiliate program owned by someone else. And you may be required to use the advertising and sales letter that they give you. But if possible use the ones that have the least amount of hype. What do I mean by hype!

Hype is where you describe something to the greatest, allowable, extreme possibility. Such as but not limited to the following:

Make a MILLION DOLLARS every time you breathe by just posting a website!!!!!
Earn $15,000 a day by reading emails!!!
Buy my ebook, "125,000 Ways To Get Rich Marketing Salt!"

Now I know these are exaggerations but the point is that while on paper you may be able to prove your claims, most do see these types of ads as exaggerations of the truth. Besides that these ads will not get you those good affiliates your are seeking. What these type of ads will get you are:

Curiosity seekers
Gullible People
Get Rich Quick Hopefuls

If you portray your business as a get rich quick scheme, then that is what you will get. People looking to get rich quick. Not exactly my idea of a good affiliate. Why? Because each person who fits into any of the above groups has their own reason for signing up none of which is to run a business. Most individuals like this sign up and do little if anything. When they realize that they're not going to get a free lunch most will opt out in a day or two. Those who remain will just ignore your emails. By the way. How would you like to go to a job interview and be told you will make $20.00 an hour. You work for 2 weeks only to find out that you have to work for the company 10 years before receiving that amount per hour. You would probably walk out the door feeling you were deceived. That is exactly what happens to people who answer ads loaded with hype. They feel as though they were deceived. .

Not only that but it can be costly to run an ad campaign that uses hype. Think of Pay Per Click advertising. Your are spending money on the clicks of those who are not interested in running a business. I would rather get one hit to my website a day from someone who will do what it takes to succeed then a million hits from people who want to get rich by the end of the day.

Rather have an ad campaign that focuses on what the average person can expect. Most people are in this category. An average person. So target your advertising as if everyone who reads it already understands the ins and outs of internet marketing. Portray your opportunity as one that will take years to reach it's full potential. Be honest and up front. Then you will get people signing up who are ready to build a business up over time. Remember. Get Rid Of The Hype. If the average person won't make $15,000 dollars a month then don't say they will. If the average person will probably make $1,000 a month then say that. What's wrong with making a $1,000 more a month then they had before. If you have been able to quit your job because of your affiliate program, prove it. If you can't offer up some type of proof, (copies of checks, real testimonials, etc...) then just keep it to yourself.

The point being made is this. Most people are already aware of the saying, "If it sounds to good to be true, then it probably is." There are exceptions to this rule but for the most part it is a true statement. Now if you follow the advice given above you will probably see a significant drop in your website traffic. And also a drop in the amount of affiliates you are getting. But like I and so many others say. "It's not the quantity of the affiliates you are getting but the quality of the affiliates you get."

Leave the hype to those who want to brag about the amount of website traffic and affiliate sign ups they are getting. I'll take a big fat check over hype any time.

How Autoresponders Work

When you think about Autoresponders, what do you think of first? Which aspects of Autoresponders are important, which are essential, and which ones can you take or leave? You be the judge.

At some point in our Internet lives, a majority of us have received a message from an autoresponder. It could have been a short response letting you know that the individual is away, or an email thanking you for something that you have done. Perhaps it was even an email letting you know about upcoming products, or even an email letting you know that a message you tried to send couldn’t be delivered.

Each one of these messages is all but a different version of a useful program known as an autoresponder. Autoresponders are very useful tools, as they will automatically send out an answer to any email that they receive. The answer that they send out however, will all depend on the messages that you have the program set up with. Autoresponders are very flexible, and most will hold a variety of pre set messages.

The very first autoresponders were used with email providers or email transfer agents. Whenever an email you sent out couldn’t be delivered to the recipient, it would send you an automatic response letting you know that your mail couldn’t be delivered. Although these programs were somewhat helpful, they weren’t all that sophisticated.

Over the years, autoresponders have changed quite a bit, proving to be very useful with big companies and even Internet marketing. These days, autoresponders are used by businesses and companies to give immediate response and feedback to interested clients and subscribers. This could include a response about programs, information about pricing, specific details regarding a product, and even a time that someone from the company can get in touch with the client.

In the world of Internet marketing, staying in touch with clients is easier than ever with an autoresponder. They will save you a quite a bit of time, especially when you think about how long it would take you to personally send email responses to each and every email you get. If you run a business, you probably get hundreds of emails a day. An autoresponder can simplify your life, by sending out a preset message response to each and every email you receive.

You can set up an autoresponder using either one or two methods – an outsourced ASP model and server side model. When using an outsourced ASP model, the company wishing to use the autoresponder will their business model will contract through an outside provider. This outside provider will then give the company user access to a web based system, or control panel. From the control panel, the company or individual can set up the autoresponder, preset messages, and decide how the autoresponder will handle the many different types of emails.

Server side autoresponders are a bit different. Basically, they are programs that a company or individual installs themselves and runs it on their own computer or server. You can save money with these programs, as you don’t have to pay a provider to operate the autoresponder. Although server side autoresponders weren’t user friendly in the beginning, they have become easier and easier to operate over the years – and are now the most popular type of autoresponder.

In all actuality, autoresponders are great to have. They are very reliable, and can easily save you a lot of time. The way the different types work can be a bit perplexing, although most are easy to use and easy to implement into your website. If you own or operate an online business – an autoresponder is something you should never find yourself without.

When word gets around about your command of Autoresponders facts, others who need to know about Autoresponders will start to actively seek you out.

Why People Fail In Affiliate Marketing

The best course of action to take sometimes isn't clear until you've listed and considered your alternatives. The following paragraphs should help clue you in to what the experts think is significant.

More and More people are lured into affiliate marketing and you might be one of them. Indeed, affiliate marketing is one of the most effective means of generating a full-time income through the Internet. It’s a fair deal between the merchandiser and his affiliates as both benefit from each sale materialized. Like in other kinds of business, a great deal of the profits in affiliate marketing depends on the affiliate’s advertising, promoting and selling strategies. Everyday, as affiliate marketing industry expands, competition heightens as well so an affiliate marketer must be creative enough to employ unique and effective ways to convince potential buyers to purchase or avail of the products and services offered.

Compared to traditional advertising practices, affiliate programs are more effective, risk-free and cost-efficient. But why do many people still fail in affiliate marketing? There are a lot of reasons and a lot of areas in the program to look into. The most critical aspect in the affiliate program is advertising. Many affiliate marketers fail in this aspect because they lack hard work, which is the most important thing in affiliate marketing and in all other kinds of business as well. Although it pays to be lucky, you cannot merely rely on it. Affiliate marketing isn’t as simple as directing customers to the business site. If you want to earn big, of course, you have to invest time and great amount of hard work in promoting the products. As earlier mentioned, the competition is very high and customers nowadays are very wise, too. After all, who doesn’t want to get the best purchase—that is, to pay less and get more in terms of quantity and quality.

Lack of preparation is also a reason why one fails in affiliate marketing, whether he is a merchandiser or an affiliate. Part of the preparation is researching. On the part of the merchant, he has to be highly selective in choosing the right affiliate websites for his affiliate program. In order to be sure he has the best choices, he must have exhausted his means in looking for highly interested affiliates whose sites are sure fit to his products and services. The affiliate site’s visitors must match his targeted customers. On the other hand, the affiliate marketer must likewise research on the good-paying merchandisers before he signs up for an affiliate program. He must ensure that the merchants’ products and services match his interests so he can give his full attention and dedication to the program. He can get valuable information by joining affiliate forums, comparing different affiliate programs and reading articles on affiliate marketing where he can get tips from experienced affiliate marketers on how to choose the best merchants and products with high conversion rate.

The website is a very important tool in the whole affiliate program. As an affiliate marketer, you should plan how your site is going to be, from domain name to the design, the lay-out, the content, and ads. Some users are particular about what they see at first glance and thus when they find your site ugly, they won’t read through the content even if your site has many things to say and offer. On the other hand, there those who want information more than anything else. Affiliate marketers with “rich-content” web sites are usually the ones who prosper in this business because the content improves traffic to the site. Websites with high quality contents—with relevant keywords and more importantly, right information about the product and not empty hyped-up advertisements—allow you to earn big in affiliate marketing even when you’re asleep. If you won’t be able to sustain the interest of your site visitor, you won’t be able to lead him to the merchants’ site. No click-through means no sale and thus, no income on your part.

Selecting a top level domain name is also crucial to the success of the affiliate program. Lots of affiliate sites don’t appear in the search engine results because they are deemed by affiliate managers as personal sites. Major search engines and directories would think of your site as transient ones and thus, they won’t list it in the directory. Before you decide on the domain name, know first what you are going to promote. Many fail because their sites are not appropriately named, so even when they feature the exact products the customer is looking for, the customer might think the site is not relevant and thus, won’t enter the site.

Above all, an affiliate marketer must be willing to learn more. Certainly, there are still a lot of things to learn and so an affiliate marketer must continue to educate himself so he can improve his marketing strategies. Many fail because they don’t grow in the business and they are merely concerned about earning big quickly. If you want long-term and highly satisfactory results, take time to learn the ins and outs of the business. Continue to improve your knowledge especially with the basics in affiliate marketing ranging from advertising to programming, web page development, and search engine optimization techniques. Likewise, study the needs and wants of your site users and how different merchandisers compete with each other.

Keep on trying; don’t get disappointed if your first attempts did not pay off. Thousands are attracted by the possibility of generating skyrocketing incomes through affiliate marketing and so they sign up in any affiliate program without carefully understanding every aspect of the business. When they don’t get instant results, they quit and sign up for another program and repeat the process of just copying links and referring them to others. When you sign up for an affiliate program, don’t expect to get rich in an instant. Work on your advertising strategies
and be patient. You’ll never know how much you can get if you don’t persevere.

There's a lot to understand about affiliate. We were able to provide you with some of the facts above, but there is still plenty more to write about in subsequent articles.

Affiliate Marketing to leverage the Internet Platform

Use Affiliate Marketing to leverage the Internet Platform.

The internet is a network. As a platform, the internet should therefore lend itself to network based marketing. It does, and the process is called affiliate marketing.

What is affiliate marketing? Let’s forget about the online world for a mo0ment and imagine that we have a product to sell in our market. We could acquire or lease a retail premises and attract customers to our store to buy the product. This will work OK if all our customers are concentrated in one geographic location or if we have deep enough pockets to open stores in many locations. What are our alternatives?

We could hire sales people to call on customers in an effort to sell the product. This would expand our reach quickly however it would still be quite costly. People are not typically low cost. To get around this, we could offer the sales people a commission only remuneration structure so that we only pay the sales person a proportion of the selling price once they make a sale. This would not require a lot of up front capital and we would only pay for performance. This is the closest model to that of affiliate marketing.

Affiliate marketers, or affiliates as they are known, specialise in selling other people’s products on the internet for a commission. Each affiliate invests their own capital to take the product to market, often in their own unique way, and when they make a sale, they receive a commission.

There is a common theme in research that twenty percent of the sales team will make eighty percent of the sales for a particular product. Some people are very good at selling. In the affiliate world, these people are known as “master affiliates” and their services are in great demand. If I have a product to sell, I really want to attract a few master affiliates if I can.

There can be more than one level of affiliate marketer. For example, you could be an affiliate selling widgets for ABC Company and receiving a sixty five percent commission (that level of commission is not uncommon in affiliate marketing circles) and you might recruit other affiliates to sell the same product for, say fifty five percent commission. You would therefore earn ten percent of every sale that they make. This is called a “two tier” affiliate commission structure.

Now why would an affiliate marketer be prepared to take fifty five percent when they could be earning sixty five percent directly from the source? Because they benefit from the knowledge, support and experience of the master affiliate. It is in the master affiliate’s best interest to help his or her affiliates to perform to the highest possible levels so they typically do whatever they can to pass on their knowledge and also provide resources for the affiliate to perform. In a way this is similar to multi-level marketing in the off line world.

So, in summary, affiliate marketing is a network marketing concept that lends itself to the network (because the internet is a highly effective platform for networking). Affiliates invest their own capital, knowledge, experience and time into marketing products and when they make a sale, they receive an agreed commission. The best affiliates are called master affiliates and they often recruit their own affiliates in a two tier model and then share the commission on sales.

Don't Leave Money On The Table!

What Kind Of Affiliate Marketing Program Should You Promote? Don't Leave Money On The Table!
By: Dassana Jayalath

So you are ready to embark on affiliate marketing? Before you join anything confirm few things. Do a little research about the choices of program that you intend to join into. Get some answers because they will be the deciding point of what you will be achieving later on.

Will it cost you anything to join? Most affiliate programs being offered today are absolutely free of charge. So why settle for those that charge you some dollars before joining.

When do they issue the commission checks? Every program is different. Some issue their checks once a month, every quarter, etc. Select the one that is suited to your payment time choice. Many affiliate marketing programs are setting a minimum earned commission amount that an affiliate must meet or exceed in order for their checks to be issued. It's good to pick an affiliate marketing program that pays commission at-least once a week.

What is the hit per sale ratio? This is the average number of hits to a banner or text link it takes to generate a sale based on all affiliate statistics. This factor is extremely important because this will tell you how much traffic you must generate before you can earn a commission from the sale. This is also called the conversion rate.

How are referrals from an affiliate's site tracked and for how long do they remain in the system? You need to be confident on the program enough to track those people you refer from your site. This is the only way that you can credit for a sale. The period of time that those people stay in the system is also important. This is because some visitors do not buy initially but may want to return later to make the purchase. Know if you will still get credit for the sale if it is done some months from a certain day.

What are the kinds of affiliate stats available? Your choice of affiliate program should be capable of offering detailed stats. They should be available online anytime you decide to check them out. Constantly checking your individual stats is important to know how many impressions, hits and sales are already generated from your site. Impressions are the number of times the banner or text link was viewed by a visitor of your site. A hit is the one clicking on the banner or text links. It's always good to have your own tracking tools.

Does the affiliate program also pay for the hits and impressions besides the commissions on sales? It is important that impressions and hits are also paid, as this will add to the earnings you get from the sales commission. This is especially important if the program you are in offers low sales to be able to hit ratio. These kind of programs called pay-per-referral rather than just for sale.

Who is the online retailer? Find out whom you are doing business with to know if it is really a solid company. Know the products they are selling and the average amount they are achieving. The more you know about the retailer offering you the affiliate program, the easier it will be for you to know if that program is really for you and your site.

Is the affiliate a one tier or two tier program? A single tier program pays you only for the business you yourself have generated. A two tier program pays you for the business, plus it also pays you a commission on the on the sales generated by any affiliate you sponsor in your program. Some two-tier programs are even paying small fees on each new affiliate you sponsor. More like a recruitment fee.

Lastly, what is the amount of commission paid? 5% - 20% is the commission paid by most programs. .01% - .05% is the amount paid for each hit. If you find a program that also pays for impressions, the amount paid is not much at all. As you can see from the figures, you will now understand why the average sales amount and hit to sale ratio is important.

These are just some of the questions that needed answering first before you enter into an affiliate program. You should be familiar with the many important aspects that your chosen program should have before incorporating them into your website. Try to ask your affiliate program choices these questions.
